Margie Purdy, Broker and Co-Owner of Purdy Homes, graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Psychology. She received her Real Estate license in 1984, then continued her education and received her Brokers License in 1989. Margie's conscientiousness and commitment to her profession, has enabled her to rise to the Top of every Real Estate company for which she has worked. She is a problem solver, an excellent negotiator, and is very perceptive. She has received numerous awards for outstanding performance over the years. She genuinely cares about getting her Buyers, Sellers, and Landlords where they want to go. She feels very grateful to LOVE what she does and it shows!

Bill Purdy who grew up in Wauneta, Nebraska, began his career in Real Estate in 1988 with Century 21. Bill's tenacity, his mid western values, and his innate ability to see the big picture enabled him to become Co- Owner of his own Real Estate company, Purdy Homes in 2000. Bill is very intuitive and has an amazing knack for matching people to properties. He is great at finding Buyers their dream home and getting his Sellers and Landlords where they want to go. Bill is also a problem solver. He puts his problem solving skills to use while managing several apartment buildings as well as several residential properties.
Bill's energy, his marketing expertise, his sharp negotiating skills, and his ability to change with the times has kept Purdy Homes on the leading edge of the Real Estate and Property Management market.
Bill and Margie In 2000, with 28 combined years of experience selling Real Estate, the Purdy's opened up "Purdy Homes." They found that all of their business came from repeat clients and referrals. After living, working, and being actively involved in the community and advertising for so many years, they had a strong local brand name. As they already had an independent and fully functional office, opening Purdy Homes seemed like a natural progression. It allowed them the freedom to make decisions that would better serve their clients, and they felt their marketing dollars would be better spent on their clients rather than supporting a national franchise. Best of all, for many years, they have sold more properties in Carlsbad than any other agent in the business. They are most proud of this accomplishment.
In addition to selling over 1,000 homes, they have owned and operated their own property management company, Property Management Professionals, since 1992. Their extensive knowledge in this field has been a tremendous asset to their Real Estate business and to their clients.
The Purdys have resided in Carlsbad since 1978. They have 2 boys, Billy and Jack, who graduated Carlsbad High School. Their boys have gone through the Carlsbad school system beginning with the Krugar House Preschool!
Pam Morris is our Property Management Coordinator and Office Manager. Pam with her wonderful English accent is the first one to greet you when you come to the office or when you call. In addition to handling our customer service and daily office needs she assists with marketing, sales, and property management. Born and raised in London Pam moved to Seattle in 1972 and has now been living in San Diego for the last 13 years. She has two wonderful daughters and one granddaughter who is the light of her life. Pam especially enjoys working with people and creating an organized and efficient office experience.
Vicki Hamilton has lived in North San Diego County since 1980. As a licensed Broker with VH1 Realty she has worked in both new home developments and re-sales for the past 30 years and during her selling career has closed over 300 homes. This invaluable experience has provided her with the knowledge and skills to assist Purdy Homes with their rental, buying and/or selling needs.
David Woodward began his Real Estate career in 1976 in Pasadena after graduating from Fuller Seminary with a Masters. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Minor in Economics from Westmont College. He and his family moved to Carlsbad in 1983 and he worked for Sun Harbor Realty. As David worked diligently to meet the growing needs of the community, he was often awarded top producer for his company. He now joins Bill and Margie at Purdy Homes Real Estate and looks forward to a renewed relationship as they once again work together to serve the needs of the Carlsbad and North County community. David and Beverly have been married for 38 years and have two grown children, a son and daughter who both attended Carlsbad School District K-12. David feels privileged to live in an area as special and beautiful as North County is, and is looking forward to being able to help you fulfill the dreams you have today.
Michele Mathiasen is a long time Realtor and a long time Carlsbad resident. She got her license in 1988. She loves all aspects of Real Estate! Most of her business comes from referrals, happy repeat clients, and now children of happy repeat clients! Her daughter, Cara, went thru the Carlsbad schools. In her spare time, Michelle likes to spend time at the beach, paddleboard, and snow ski. When you work with Michele you have a friend for life!
Cathi Reiser has been selling Real Estate since 1993 focusing on marketing beachfront and coastal properties. Cathi, her husband Chris, and their two boys have lived in Carlsbad since 1987. Every summer since 1994, the Reiser Family volunteer as Cast Members in the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach! It has been a wonderful family affair! Over the years, Cathi has sold property primarily in North Coast Village, a beachfront gated community adjacent to Oceanside harbor. Having graduated from San Diego State University with a fine arts degree, she recognizes the little things that enrich individual's lives.
